Susana R. Crais

My name is Susana R. Crais, and I am blessed with six children. Like many families, we have experienced numerous hardships. My husband underwent eye surgery due to cataracts, and because of his condition, he was no longer able to return to work. As a community volunteer, the salary I receive is not enough to support the daily needs of our family, especially the educational expenses of our children.Despite these challenges, God provided hope for our family through the KM/KKMK Foundation. The Foundation became a blessing by giving two of my children the opportunity to continue their education and pursue their dreams. My fifth child, Jeannel Crais, was a KKMK scholar who successfully graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Major in Marketing Management. She is now employed as an Accounting Staff at Pythagoras Construction, Inc.My youngest child, Sunshine Crais, is also a proud product of the KKMK Foundation. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Physical Education from National Teachers College. She later passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers and is now working as a Physical Education Teacher at St. Vincent Institute of Arts and Sciences. The scholarship assistance provided by the KKMK Foundation greatly eased our financial burden. It gave my children the opportunity to finish their studies without constantly worrying about how we would pay for their school expenses. More importantly, it allowed them to develop into confident, responsible, and successful individuals. As a mother, there is no greater joy than seeing my children achieve their dreams and build a brighter future for themselves. Watching them graduate, find meaningful employment, and become professionals is something I once only hoped and prayed for.None of these milestones would have been possible without the unwavering support of the KM/KKMK Foundation. Their generosity did not only provide financial assistance, it gave our family hope, encouragement, and the chance to break the cycle of poverty through education. From the bottom of my heart, I am sincerely grateful to the KM/KKMK Foundation and all the sponsors and partners who continue to invest in the lives of children and families like ours. The Foundation has truly become a light for our family and for many other underprivileged families, helping transform lives through education and giving children the opportunity to reach their full potential.
