YSABELLA

Ysabella is a 10-year-old and Grade 5 pupil. Her favorite subject is Mathematics. During her free time, she loves to sing and read English stories because she wants to improve her English vocabulary. She is a jolly and caring sister to her younger sibling. She’s also diligent and obedient to her parents. Her academic performance is outstanding (91%) and she is one of the honor students in her class.

Ysabella has a younger sister. Their father is an on-call, skilled electrician earning an estimated amount of Php 12,000.00 per month. Their mother is a full-time housewife.

Ysabella lives with her parents and sister in a semi-concrete house made partly of light materials. The roof is already damaged, causing water leaks inside the house during rainy days. The house is owned by her paternal grandparents, who have already passed away and entrusted it to them. However, even though they have their own house, they still struggle to meet their daily needs. Due to their limited and unstable household income, the family finds it difficult to cover daily expenses and support the educational needs of their children. For this reason, they are applying for sponsorship, hoping to receive educational assistance to support Ysabella. This will allow Ysabella to continue excelling academically and pursue her dream of becoming a licensed electrical engineer.
